BIOGRAPHY

Vicki Disney is a contemporary abstract artist based in East Sussex, who has been painting in acrylics and oils since 2000.
Inspired by her years travelling through some of the world’s most beautiful countries, always wondering what would happen with all the images burned into her mind.
Inspired and intrigued by the colours & textures in the everyday things we may take for granted. A moss covered wall is an array of shades, textures and patterns, a rusted metal roof is a rainbow of reds, browns and golds glinting in the sun. A little of each of these is captured in her large abstract paintings. From far away a beautiful abstract canvas but on looking closer you will see finer textures and details beyond the first glance.
