My interest with Rust & corrosion, the beauty left behind when nature’s elements have taken their toll. Leaving unique markings, delicate textures and subtle colours that have been exposed with time.
The elements dramatically alter the permanence of the material, leaving behind  fragile skeletons from strong industrial materials.
 Each painting is worked on layer upon layer until i get the effect i want . There are a lot of textures that are hard to be picked out in the photo.  The paintings  are inspired by old walls, the layers of concrete and wear and tear a wall goes through with time & weathering.

 I paint the contemporary abstract art in oils & acrylics, using a lot of mediums along the way. The canvases I use are box canvas so can be hung directly on the wall. with all edges painted white so there is a crisp finish.
